Well... someone once said that all things must come to an end. That time has come for Hurricane Roses. When starting this thing, none of us could've ever expected the 6-year journey ahead of us, and quite the journey it has been. To a certain extent, we have built our lives around this band. The lives of six individuals running parallel for six years. Through a handful of newborns, several marriages, tragedies... all the real-life ups and downs, we've become a family. Brothers and Sister. And our music directly reflects those journeys.
We cannot thank you enough for the love and support over the years. It has meant the world to us and we are very proud of the music that we've created and the friendships that were made along the way. All of this has made this time so rewarding and unforgettable for us.
There are some really positive life changes happening for us all right now. A big one being our beloved Angi is moving to the LA area in the coming months. We are sad to see her leave the Bay but excited about the new and exciting things that are coming her way with this change of scenery. With families and jobs that may take several other members outside the Bay Area soon as well, we felt that it's time for this chapter in our lives to close. And as good as we feel about these much needed life changes/decisions, we can't help but feel down about the whole thing ending. But. We wouldn't go out without a bang!
Hurricane Roses will be playing a farewell show on Saturday, May 23rd at Moes Alley in Santa Cruz. More information will be made on that in the coming weeks. We would also love to see you on April 8th at Hotel Utah in San Francisco.
Thank you again and we hope to see you at one of our final shows!
